Free Economic Zones Administration
Free Economic Zones Administration, as an administrative body within the Ministry of Finance, is responsible for:
- deciding whether requirements for approval of a free economic zone area have been met;
- preparing draft documents for approval of a free economic zone area;
- preparing draft documents about invalidation of approval of a free economic zone area;
- monitoring implementation of adopted bylaws;
- preparing proposals related with initiatives for evaluation of constitutionality or legality of laws and bylaws concerning free economic zones;
- obtaining opinions on disputable issues related with application of the Law from competent state authorities;
- providing opinions and explanations related with implementation of the Law;
- acting in compliance with the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, and executing other administrative duties.
The Free Economic Zones Administration comprises three internal units:
1) Group for development and promotion of free economic zones;
2) Group for control and monitoring of free economic zones;
3) Group for administrative, general and normative affairs.
