Games of Chance Administration

Games of Chance Administration, as an administrative body within the Ministry of Finance, executes the following activities:

1) determines a proposed catalogue about types of games of chance, which is promulgated by the minister of finance;
2) provides consent to decision of Serbia’s State Lottery about organizing a classic game of chance;
3) implements public call procedure and considers proposals submitted upon a public call for allocating license to organize special games of chance in gaming establishments, in line with the procedure of license granting, performs other specialized activities related with license issuance, and prepares the Ministry’s proposal to the Republic of Serbia Government to revoke a license;
4) grants or revokes approval or consent for organizing a game of chance;
5) estimating value of the prize fund for organizing sweepstakes in goods and services;
6) preparing draft agreement on mutual rights and obligations about organizing classic games of chance, which is signed with Serbia’s State Lottery;
7) determines technical and information technology requirements which an organizer must fulfill and provides opinion about whether they have actually been met;
8) issues approval to change the place where games are organized in gaming establishments, on slot machines, a betting establishment or point of payment;
9) issues and revokes approval for holding risk deposits for insurance of winnings in line with the law;
10) issues licenses for promotional casino tokens which cannot be purchased with money;
11) appoints its representative in lottery commissions in classic games of chance;
12) issues special signs which are posted at entrances to gaming or betting establishments or at a point of payment of a betting establishment;
13) issues stickers for slot machines and gaming tables;
14) prepares draft bylaws for implementation of the law;
15) approves a change of venue or date where or when the prizes will be drawn;
16) keeps records about matters within its scope of activities;
17) executes other tasks in line with law.
